About
Our graduate programme promotes applied research on biodiversity-friendly land use with a focus on biosphere reserves. It contributes to strengthening the research profile of Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development by promoting interdisciplinary collaboration among its faculties and the University’s collaboration with partners from research and practice. The programme is designed and implemented jointly with
Goal
Our goal is to train and promote doctoral students from Germany and abroad for academic and professional careers within a specific and unique research area.
The semi-structured programme combines interdisciplinary research with a series of courses and activities aimed at acquiring high-level skills in research methods, analysis, and communication.
Doctoral students are given the opportunity to integrate their research project into a broader scientific-theoretical framework and to acquire solid theoretical knowledge in this context. The expected outcome is their visible, original, and publishable contribution to knowledge.
